In two separate explosions last night in Azaz, Northern Syria, 4 civilians lost their lives and dozens of others were wounded.
In two separate explosions last night in Azaz, Northern Syria, 4 civilians lost their lives and dozens of others were wounded.
Both explosions took place to the east of the town. The first explosion was a suicide attack at around 22.00, and it created material damage but no loss to life. Half an hour later, a second suicide attack was carried out and 4 civilians lost their lives while dozens of others were wounded.
According to local sources in Azaz, the civilians who lost their lives are Beşîr Necîb Ednan (22), Omer Fetah Ebdolî (37), Yasir Qetbûrî (35) and Hemze Kino (17).
There are contradictory accounts regarding the explosions. Local sources claim 3 ISIS sleeper cells carried out these attacks. According to other sources, the Jabhat Al Shamiyya carried out the attacks in question.
Following the explosions, a curfew was declared this morning at 06.00 a.m.
There have been intense clashes among Turkey-supported gangs for a while now in Azaz.
