The Internal Security Forces Press Liaison Center announced that its member, Xelef El Omer, fell as a martyr in Deir ez-Zor.

The Internal Security Forces Press Liaison Center announced that its member, Xelef El Omer, fell as a martyr in Deir ez-Zor.

The Homeland Security Forces statement is as follows: “A member of our Deir ez-Zor Security Forces reached martyrdom on Thursday, 2 March, while fulfilling his duty to protect his country and people.”
The identity of the martyr is as follows:

“Name and Surname: Xelef El-Omer

Father's Name: Etallah

Mother's name: Shekhê

Place and date of participation: Al Bisire 11-7-2018.

Place and date of martyrdom: Al Sebha 2-3-2023.”

The statement continued: “Martyr Xelef El Omer joined the ranks of the Internal Security Forces about 5 years ago. His involvement was due to his love for his country and the will to protect it. Martyr Xelef El Omer always worked in cooperation with his comrades and had a high spirit of friendship. Xelef El Omer fell as a martyr as a result of a attack carried out by mercenaries while he was fulfilling his duty to protect the security and peace of his country.

We, the Internal Security Forces, express our condolences to the family of martyr Xelef and our people, and bow respectfully before the sacrifices of our martyrs. We declare that we will walk in the path of our martyrs until security and peace are established in all our regions.”
