KNK delegation visits Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in Raqqa

The KNK delegation visited the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in Raqqa. The meeting addressed the Syrian crisis and the Kurdish Common Stance Conference.

Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) Co-Chair Zeyneb Murad and KNK member Bêrîvan Hesen visited the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in Raqqa. The delegation met with the co-chairs of the Autonomous Administration Executive Council, Evîn Siwêd and Hesen Osman, and their deputies.

During the visit, participants discussed the events in Syria and criticism of the Damascus regime and stressed that the rights of all Syrian people must be protected. The participants also addressed the discussions on the Rojava Kurdish Union and the Common Stance Conference, which, they said, could have a positive impact on Syria's future.

The KNK delegation drew attention to the pioneering role played by women in northern and eastern Syria in all political and social spheres, and touched upon the recent events across Syria. The meeting highlighted that Syria is facing many problems, particularly sectarian conflict, and emphasized that the experience of autonomous administration has strengthened social solidarity.

The parties stated that the success of the Autonomous Administration was achieved through the participation of all components of society, and that this experience should be spread throughout Syria. The KNK delegation remarked that they considered support for democratic projects to be a patriotic duty, emphasizing that the Autonomous Administration project was for the benefit of all Syrians and that the Autonomous Administration was a hope for Syria.
