Semir Hebak from the Manbij Circassian Committee said that the Turkish state wants to separate the regions from each other and to put the people against each other.
Manbij Circassian Committee member Semir Hebak said that they will develop and defend the Democratic Nation project and called on all peoples to stand by the Autonomous Administration and the SDF.
Manbij Circassian Committee member Semir Hebak, talked to ANF about the Turkish state's invasion attacks on South Kurdistan and North-East Syria, and said that they have been aware of the purpose of these attacks on the region for years.
Hebak said that Turkey aimed to separate regions from each other, to create confusion and conflict between the people. “Turkey does not only attack militarily, it also attacks the region through psychological warfare and spying methods. The Turkish state is trying to show that it is only fighting against the Kurds, but we know that the Kurds are not its only target. All the peoples of North-East Syria are a target for the Turkish state. Its aim is the same in South Kurdistan. Turkey wants to create conflict between Kurds, Arabs and Turkmens. It fights against unity among peoples.”
Hebak said that they will develop and defend all the necessities and achievements of the democratic nation project to the end.
Drawing attention to the experiences of the Circassian people, Hebak said: “The Ottomans, with the support of the Russians and the British, caused great destruction in these lands. At that time, the Circassian people were subjected to great slaughter and assimilation. We were subjected to assimilation by the Ottomans and were dispersed all over the world. We are in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and many more countries. If the Turkish state succeeds, the same things will happen again. Therefore, we must stand in the way of all their plans. My call to all peoples is to stand by the Autonomous Administration and the SDF."
