Four martyrs of the resistance against the invasion have been buried in Kobanê. The martyrs were buried in the Şehîd Dîcle cemetery accompanied by a large crowd. A representative of the Autonomous Administration, Ehmed Xoce, spoke of the determined resistance of the fighters and the population in the region of Northern and Eastern Syria. "There are families who have lost several relatives within a few days due to attacks by Turkey and its proxy militia SNA," said Xoce, adding: "We are living through a very critical time. The Turkish state wants to annihilate the Kurdish people and destroy Kobanê because the 19 July [2012] revolution began here. It has been trying to do this from the beginning. But we have proven ourselves in the battle for Kobanê, and we will win this time too. We, the population of the entire region, will follow the line of our fallen soldiers."
