Military forces withdrawing from Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah reach Tabqa

Withdrawing from Aleppo's Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah neighborhoods, military forces reached Tabqa Canton in North-East Syria.

The military forces stationed in Aleppo's Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah neighborhoods withdrew to the east of the Euphrates River as part of Article 6 of the 14-point agreement signed on April 1 between the Damascus government and the General Assembly of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah neighborhoods. The military forces reached Tabqa Canton.

According to a joint statement by the People's Protection Units (YPG) and Women's Protection Units (YPJ), the troops withdrew from the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah neighborhoods and the security of these areas was handed over to the Internal Security Forces (Asayish).
