Mine explosion in Shehba kills two relatives from Afrin
The two men had been displaced from Afrin’s Jindires district by the Turkish invasion.
A mine exploded in the village of Babnis in Ehdas district of the Shehba Canton on Thursday.
The explosion occurred while two civilians, Kanîwar Hisê Elûş and Semîr Menan Elûş, collected firewood in the rural area of the village.
Both men lost their lives in the explosion. They are reported to be relatives who were displaced from Afrin’s Jindires district by the Turkish invasion.
