MSD holds first meeting with representatives of political parties in Tabqa

The Relations Office of the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) held the first meeting with the Political Parties Public Relations Coordination in the city of Tabqa. The meeting was held at the Executive Council Hall, with the participation of representatives of local political parties.
Mustafa Othman and Daniya Ramadan, co-chairs of the MSD’s Relations Office in Raqqa, along with Salam Hussein, representative of the MSD’s Relations Office in Tabqa, chaired the meeting.
The agenda of the meeting included a discussion of the current political situation and a review of MSD’s political documents. The meeting also focused on the crucial role of political parties in raising awareness among various components in society. In addition, the meeting underlined the importance of engaging in national dialogues with different segments of society and strengthening relations with parties in central Syria.
The participants in the meeting underlined the critical need to participate in national dialogues to reach consensus and unite Syrians, and put forward several proposals.
They suggested highlighting the situation in North and Western Syria as an important matter; strengthening relations with Syrians in those areas as crucial, and said that it is necessary to continue the work of the National Action Committee.
The meeting served as an important first step in activating the role of parties and enhancing their effectiveness within the local political landscape. It also aims to outline the essential steps for the current stage and support the national action approach led by MSD.
The meeting also confirmed the MSD’s ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination among various political powers in the region. Additionally, it aims to unify efforts towards achieving stability and development in Northern and Eastern Syria.
