North and East Syria detects 48 new cases of coronavirus

48 new cases of coronavirus detected in North and East Syria in the last 24 hours.

Ciwan Mustafa, co-chair of the Health Committee of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, announced that a person in Hesekê died in the past 24 hours.

Mustafa was giving the statement regarding the coronavirus data in the region for the past 24 hours.

In his statement, Mustafa said that 48 new coronavirus cases were detected in the past 24 ours. Of these, 21 were women and 27 men.

According to the statement, the distribution of the new cases by cities is as follows: Hesekê 14, Qamişlo 3, Girkê Legê 4, Dêrik 3, Amûdê 2, Dirbêsiyê 1, Til Temir 1, Kobanê 10, Raqqa 8, Manbij 1, Tabqa 1.

Mustafa noted that 5 people with Covid-19 recovered bringing the total number to 402.

According to the latest data, the total number of cases in the region increased to 1446 and the total number of deaths to 62.
