One ISIS member arrested in Deir ez-Zor countryside

SDF operation targeted an ISIS member, who was responsible for supplying the ISIS terrorist cells with weapons and funding the terrorist acts in the region of Deir ez-Zor.

On September 15, Anti-Terrorism Units (YAT) of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), supported by the International Coalition and with active participation by the Counter-Terrorism Group (CTG) in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, conducted a security operation in the Al-Buneital village, Al-Suar town, Deir ez-Zor eastern countryside.

According to the SDF Media Center, the operation targeted one of the ISIS terrorists, who was responsible for supplying the ISIS terrorist cells with weapons and funding terrorist acts in the region.

Supported by air surveillance from the International Coalition Forces, SDF forces successfully raided the house where the terrorist was hiding and apprehended him.

Various weapons and military equipment were confiscated during the operation, including:

-AK-47 rifle /2/

-Pistol /2/

-Pistol magazines /5/

-AK-47 magazines /1/

-Smartphones /3/

-Military binoculars /1/

"Our dedicated forces, in close partnership with the International Coalition, will persistently pursue ISIS terrorists across different regions of North-East Syria," said the statement by SDF Media Center.
