After the previous attack by ISIS mercenaries in Raqqa, a full-time curfew was declared in order to restore the security of the region. The curfew was then turned into a partial one.

The partial curfew, which started on 30 December, was completely lifted on Thursday by the Internal Affairs Committee, which said that life in the city could return to normal.
