After ISIS mercenaries attacked the headquarters of the Internal Security Forces in the neighbourhood of Diriyê, northwest of Raqqa, on 26 December, the Raqqa Civil Council Internal Affairs Committee declared a curfew in the city.
Six members of the Internal Security Forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fell as martyrs as a result of the attack.
With the clearing operations in the city largely completed, the Civil Council on Friday issued a partial curfew which will remain in effect from 4 pm to 7 pm every evening.
According to the Civil Council, the situation in the city remains under control.
