People force Turkish soldiers to retreat from Rojava soil

Turkish soldiers' attempt to invade the Rojava land in a village of the Efrîn Canton was prevented by the people who forced Turkish troops to retreat.

Soldiers of the invading Turkish army crossed 500 meters into the Şenkîliyê village in Efrîn Canton's Raco district Thursday afternoon. Turkish troops entered the village with construction equipment and armored vehicles to dig a trench and build a wall.

People from Efrîn's Raco and Bilbilê districts rushed to the border in anger and stopped the Turkish soldiers from invading their land. The fierce resistance of locals forced the soldiers to withdraw from Rojava soil.

People remained on vigil in the border area for a long time afterwards to not allow another attempt by the invading Turkish army.
