The march turned into a mass meeting at the crossroad El-Eleme. Co-chair of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Girê Spî, Hemdan El-Ebid, spoke here and said: "First of all we commemorate all martyrs of Kurdistan. The occupying Turkish state and its gangs are trying hard to fool the people of Syria by propagating nothing else than outright lies. But we, the people of Rojava-Northern Syria have huge trust in our own power and our system of a democratic nation."

El Ebid stated that not the slightest difference exists between Kurds, Arabs and Christians and all the peoples of Syria are being protected equally.

Co-chair of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Girê Spî, Zeliha Ebdi said: "We, the Kurdish, Arab, Armenian and Turkmen women have gathered here to convey a message to the Turkish state and all states around the world. We women of all four backgrounds will always stand with the resistance of Efrîn that will prevail in the same way Kobanê did.”

Following the statements, slogans expressing support with the resistance of the YPG-YPJ have been chanted.
