Masses bid farewell to SDF fighter Welîd El-Kok (Yarûb) and Internal Security Forces member Ramî Abdullah who fell as martyrs on duty.
The funeral at the Manbij Cemetery of Martyrs began with the military ceremony of Manbij Military Council fighters.
Speaking here, Manbij Military Council Spokesman Shervan Derwish said the following; “We are living on the lands where international conspiracies are conducted. We are living on the lands where everyone seeks to pillage all the riches. Martyrs, on the other hand, are sacrificing their lives for the freedom of their country.”
Derwish stressed that they would be following in the footsteps of the martyrs who fell resisting.
Speaking in the name of Internal Security Forces, Ciwan El-Ehmed said that the martyrs have sacrificed their lives for truth and freedom.
Manbij Civil Council Co-president Mihemed Elî Ebo pointed out that all the achievements in the region have been made thanks to the martyrs.
Martyr Welîd El-Kok’s father Heysem El-Kok said he was proud of his son’s martyrdom and vowed to trace their path of resistance.
Following the speeches, the two martyrs were laid to rest.
