People of Tabqa march against occupation

Protests against Turkish-jihadist occupation in North-East Syria continue.

Masses staged a march in the northern Syrian town of Tabqa on Sunday in protest at the occupation attacks of the Turkish state and allied mercenaries. During the march, which was also joined by residents of the surrounding towns, the crowd displayed flags of the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) and MSD (Syrian Democratic Council) as they chanted slogans condemning occupation.

The march was followed by a rally in the town center where Tabqa Executive Council Co-president Mezlum Uner addressed the crowd and stressed that the popular will for resistance will end the Turkish occupation. Denouncing the war crimes committed by the Turkish state in the territories it has occupied in North-East Syria, Umer added: “The Turkish state seeks to revive Ottoman invasion.”

The demonstration was concluded with slogans against the crimes of the Turkish occupation state forces.
