People of Til Temir protest against Turkey’s attacks

People of Til Temir (Tal Tamr) expressed their determination to resist the genocidal attacks of the Turkish state seeking to invade North and East Syria.

People took to the streets in Til Temir town of Heseke Canton in protest at the Turkish state’s attacks on Kurdistan. The protest march was staged under the motto “We will end betrayal and occupation in the spirit of 14 July resistance”.

The crowd also protested against the Turkish state’s occupation attacks on North and East Syria, Southern Kurdistan (Northern Iraq) and guerrilla zones. The march was also joined by several civil society organizations.

Demonstrators displayed flags of SDF, YPG, YPJ and Kongreya Star and photos of children killed by Turkey’s genocidal attacks.

Speaking here, PYD (Democratic Union Party) General Council Member Şêxmus Ehmed who vowed to resist the attacks, saying; “Having already occupied Afrin, Serekaniye and Gire Spi, the Turkish state now wants to occupy Haftanin and Southern Kurdistan with the aim of building a new Ottoman state but this attempt by the Turkish state will be frustrated.”

Ehmed also called on the International Coalition Against ISIS and the United Nations to take action in order to stop Turkey’s attacks.
