SDF and Russia agree to increase coordination 

During a meeting between SDF and Russian commander, it was agreed to raise the level of coordination and joint work.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, said that they received today the commander of the Russian forces in Syria and discussed with him the common issues, including Turkey's violations of the agreements concluded and the assassination of Kurdish activists in Kobane. He confirmed an agreement to raise the level of coordination and joint action.

The SDF Commander-in-Chief wrote the following on Twitter: “Today, we received the Commander of the Russian Forces in Syria, General Alexander Chayko, to discuss common issues, including Turkey's violations of the October 23 agreement, especially the assassination of the three Kurdish activists in Kobani. It was agreed to raise the level of coordination and joint work, and we conveyed our thanks for their efforts to defuse tension.”
