SDF detain 87 people in new operation launched against ISIS
Special forces affiliated to the SDF raided some addresses in the village of Hircê in Siraz, province of Deir ez-Zor on the 5th day of the campaign.
87 people were detained since the beginning, on 4 June, of the operation launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) against ISIS cells in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor and Hesekê.
The new operation was launched by the SDF on 4 June directed to ISIS mercenaries, which have increased their threats and attacks on civilian people in recent months.
Special forces affiliated to the SDF raided some addresses in the village of Hircê in Siraz, province of Deir ez-Zor on the 5th day of the campaign.
During the raids, 20 people linked to ISIS and related to cell structures were detained.
The number of ISIS mercenaries and suspects detained since the start of the operation increased to 87.
