SDF fighter Ebdurezaq El Hemed laid to rest in Hesekê

SDF fighter Ebdurezaq El Hemed, who was killed while on duty in Til Temir, was laid to rest at Martyr Dijwar Cemetery in Hesekê.

Hundreds of people went to Martyr Dijwar Cemetery in Hesekê to bid farewell to SDF fighter Ebdurezaq El Hemed.

SDF fighter Ebdurezaq El-Hemed (Bicari) died while on duty in Til Temir. The ceremony started with a minute’s silence and a military ceremony by SDF fighters.

Mehmud Cewad, member of the Hesekê Martyrs' Families Council, conveyed his condolences to the martyr's family and said: "Our martyrs sacrificed their lives for the freedom and honour of the people of Northern and Eastern Syria. The martyrs are our true leading lights. The Turkish occupation is targeting children and the elderly in front of the world."

Kazım Mehmud, one of the commanders of the Deir ez-Zor Military Council, said that martyr Abdurezaq El Hemed was protecting the region on the front lines and pointed out that the Turkish state targeted civilians with armed drones in order to create fear in the hearts of the people and to defeat the Autonomous Administration, which was established with the support of all the people of the region. Mehmud promised to follow the path of the martyrs until freedom and peace are achieved.
