Democratic Syrian Forces (SDF) fighter Sabir Ehmed (Rênas) and Commandos Forces fighter Ehmed El Mitleq (Dilşah Badînî), who fell as martyrs on 1 May while performing their military duties, were laid to rest at a ceremony held in the village of Dawûdiyê in Hesekê.

Martyr Families Council member Mehmûd Cewad expressed his condolences to the Kurdish people, the families of the martyrs and Northern and Eastern Syria military forces and said: “Our martyrs promised to continue the struggle until they liberate the occupied areas. We will continue their work."

Zerdeşt Hesekê, one of the commanders of the Cizre Region Commandos Forces, said: “No matter how much we talk about the martyrs, we cannot explain their greatness. The path of martyrs is sacred. We will fulfil their dreams and hopes.”

Afterwards, the martyrdom documents were read and delivered to their families.
