SDF fighters have freed two Ezidi civilians, who had been abducted by ISIS in Shengal, in Sûsê village in their ongoing Operation Cizire Storm.
Fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) who are joining the Operation Cizire Storm have rescued in the village of Sûsê two Ezidis, Nîzar (9) and Henai, who had been abducted by ISIS in Shengal. The ISIS leader holding the two Ezidis captive was killed in the rescue operation.
The rescued Ezidis were handed over to the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) and then to the Ezidi House in Cizire Region following a press statement.
Speaking at the press briefing in front of the MSD building in Ayn Îsa town, MSD Political Council Member Hikmet Hebîb recalled that SDF fighters have freed several civilians from ISIS darkness up to date.
The rescued Ezidis will be taken to Shengal by the Ezidi House officials and reunite with their families.
