The Press Office of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released a statement detailing the attacks carried out against North and East Syria on 9,10,11 and 12 January.

The statement said that the occupant Turkish state and allied mercenaries continued their attacks in an attempt to expand their occupation.

SDF announced the details of the attacks as follows:

AIN ISSA

The Ain Issa checkpoint was bombed by armed drones on 9 January, killing a civilian and a member of the asayish forces. On the same day, the vicinity of the Hoshan village, which is located on the international M4 highway, was attacked by the invading army with heavy weapons and howitzers. The attack caused material damage on the properties of the civilian population.

GIRÊ SPÎ

The invading Turkish army and their mercenaries attacked the village of Arida, Shorba Nisk and Qazali on 10 and 11 January. The bombardment with mortars and howitzers caused material damage for the civilians.

TIRBÊSPIYÊ

The occupant Turkish state and allied mercenaries attacked the area where Internal Security institutions are located near the village of Dugir at around 13:00 on 12 January. The attack killed two people, including a member of Internal Security Forces and a civilian, wounding many others.

SDF added that the Turkish state continued its violations since the day ceasefire was declared for the region.
