The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said in a statement that one of their fighters was killed in a Turkish drone attack in the Kobanê countryside.

The statement said: "As the international community mobilizes aid and rescue efforts to help those affected by the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria, the Turkish occupying state continues to target our areas with various weapons. This afternoon, one of our fighters was visiting a family in the countryside near Kobani city when his car was targeted by a Turkish UAV, resulting in his martyrdom."
