The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Press Center said on Wednesday that it downed a Turkish Bayraktar TB2-type drone near the Qereqozax Bridge in the south of Kobanê.

The statement said: "Our forces successfully shot down a Turkish UCAV type Bayraktar TB2 in the vicinity of the Qara Qawzak Bridge, south of Kobane.

This marks the third Turkish drone shot down by our forces in the past month. These Turkish drones have been a key tool in Turkish colonial invasions and have been used to commit numerous massacres and war crimes against our peaceful people and our forces over the years."

The statement added: "These Turkish UCAVs remain a primary target for our forces, as we will not hesitate to shoot them down by all means using the self-developed capabilities at our disposal."
