SDF forces moved deep into Mirur neighbourhood in west of Raqqa after intense clashes with IS gangs. SDF took control of city’s children hospital building which is reported to be in a strategic location overlooking most of the neighbourhood.

SDF reportedly seized heavy weapons in the building. SDF fighters also captured 2 IS gangs dead who were killed in recent fighting.

In another western neighbourhood of the city, in Nehda, SDF fighters killed at least 23 IS gangs, local sources reported.
