SDF targets the gathering of occupation forces in the vicinity of Tishrin and Qereqozax

The Syrian Democratic Forces continue their operations against occupation forces in North-East Syria.

The Press Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released a statement announcing the details of their latest operations against occupation forces:

“In direct response to the ongoing attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, our forces destroyed yesterday an excavator while it was constructing fortifications in a base belonging to the Turkish occupation on the Qereqozax hill.

On the Tishreen Dam front, our Martyr Haroun Units targeted yesterday a gathering point of Turkish occupation mercenaries near the village of Khirbet Al-Zamala, in the countryside of Tishreen (Tishrin) Dam. The attack resulted in casualties among the mercenaries, though the exact number remains unknown.

Additionally, our fighters conducted another operation in the vicinity of the dam, targeting another gathering point of mercenaries who were preparing to launch an attack against our forces. This operation inflicted multiple eliminations and injuries among the mercenaries, while the remaining mercenaries fled the area. Meanwhile, the Turkish occupation continued shelling the dam’s surroundings using heavy artillery and tanks. Turkish occupation UCAVs strikes persisted throughout Thursday night into Friday morning, with the shelling concentrated on workers’ housing, causing significant material damage.

Furthermore, Turkish warplanes carried out two airstrikes on the town of Shekhler (Al-Shuyoukh), resulting in material damage to homes and civilian properties. Turkish UCAVs remained active in the area throughout the day. Simultaneously, Turkish occupation shelled villages near the city of Kobani with heavy artillery, inflicting material damage on civilian homes, while Turkish occupation warplanes and UCAVS maintained a presence in the region’s airspace.”
