The Syrian Dialogue Workshop, organized under the slogan “Let's reconstruct and develop Syria”, is continuing with a session titled “Humanitarian situation in the Syrian crisis“.
Participants from Syria opposition include the President of the Democratic National Society, Basil El-Kiwêfî, Besam Hisen from the Labor Party, Fatih Camus from the Movement for Peaceful Change, İbrahim Qeftan from the Future Party of Syria, Deham Setam, İbrahim El Selac from the Nujen Party, Salih Muslim from the PYD Foreign Relations Department Muslims, Xelef Dawud, Ebdulqadir Miwehed, Chairman of the Syriac Unity Party Senherib Bersum and Ferhad Hemo of the El Tensiq-Change Movement.
The speeches underlined that the Syrian people are in need of freedom and that the regime does not offer anything to the people. Likewise it has been underlined that the foreign powers and forces are carrying out policies which are not in the interest of the Syrian people.
These foreign forces did not react against the bloodshed and brutal attacks in Syria.
Speakers noted that most of the people in refugee camps in Northern Syria do not want to return to their country and do not trust the regime.
In addition, according to various reports, 18 million people need help, about 6 million migrants and more than 5 million refugees were faced with hunger.
Furthermore, one out of three schools have been destroyed, while 35 percent of dirty water is consumed.
The violence suffered by the people of Afrin was underlined in all speeches and it was underlined how people were displaced and are now living in very difficult conditions in the camps put up in Shehba.
Turkey has been identified as the biggest reason for the deepening of the Syrian crisis.
The situation and repression suffered by women throughout the Syrian crisis at the hands of DAESH mercenaries was also exposed.
Finally it was emphasized that Northern Syria is safe thanks to the forces born out of people of the region.
