TURKISH GENOCIDAL CAMPAIGN AGAINST NORTH-EAST SYRIA

The Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) issued a written statement regarding the invading Turkish state's escalated attacks on North and East Syria.

TEV-DEM stated that the occupying Turkish state and its gangs bombed the villages in Afrin-Shehba and Manbij regions in recent days, resulting in casualties among the civilian population.

TEV-DEM said, "The Turkish government is conducting a policy of attacking everything. This is a continuation of the policy of political genocide against our people. Destroying and burning the agricultural infrastructure means destroying the social economy and weakening agricultural products. Its aim is to break the will of the citizens and take away their right to life."

Stating that the refugees of Efrin-Shehba Canton are resisting the attacks of the occupying Turkish state and the siege imposed by the Damascus government, TEV-DEM said, "The Turkish state is carrying out its attacks to take revenge for the will and resistance. This will and resistance is the basis of a free life.”

TEV-DEM called on the international community to put pressure on the occupying Turkish state to stop its attacks and crimes against the people of the region and said, "The Turkish state is taking advantage of the international silence and increasing the attacks against the people of the region."
