The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Media Center said in a written statement that “Tal Abyad Military Council thwarted an infiltration attempt by the Turkish-backed mercenaries in the village of Kor Hasan, in the western countryside of Tal Abyad.”

The statement added: “Following an intensive artillery shelling on the village by the Turkish occupying army, fierce clashes erupted, resulting in the neutralizing of one mercenary, the wounding of another, and the fleeing of the rest of them.”
