Afrin Liberation Forces reported continued operations against the occupying Turkish army and allied mercenaries in and around Afrin.

A statement published by Afrin Liberation Forces regarding the most recent actions carried out by their squads against invaders in Afrin said the following:

“Our forces continue to inflict heavy blows to the terrorist Turkish army and its jihadist mercenaries in occupied Afrin. Terrorists suffered heavy losses in recent days due to the operations conducted by our teams.

Our teams carried out an operation against invaders near the village of Kabashin in Afrin’s Sherawa town on January 1. As result of the operation, two terrorists were wounded according to the information obtained.

Our fighters raided the positions of Turkish-backed jihadist terrorists on two axes near Ra’i on January 2. The operation turned into a clash which lasted 30 minutes. Terrorists attempted to thwart our forces’ assault with heavy weapons including panzers. 3 terrorists were killed and another one was heavily wounded as a result.”
