Turkey attacks villages in Manbij and Gire Spi

The Turkish regime has intensified its attacks against northern Syria as part of its genocidal campaign seeking to invade the region which has been ongoing since October 9 in violation of international law.

The Press Office of Manbij Military Council (MMC) reported that the village of Arab Hasan to the northwest of the Manbij city was attacked on Tuesday. 7 cannon balls landed in the village.

According to the MMC statement, Turkish forces attacked the military positions of Syrian regime forces in the northwest of the city with heavy weapons. MMC also reported an intense activity of Turkish reconnaissance aircraft over the region.

On the other hand, occupation forces shelled the villages of Qizeli, Silip and Kerabsahruch in Gire Spi (Tal Abyad) territory at around 20:30 local time Tuesday evening.

Reports say that positions of Syrian troops were targeted in the Qizeli village.
