Women from the religious institutions in Cizire region of North-East Syria, Free Women’s Foundation and Sara Organisation to Combat Violence Against Women made a press statement at the Şehit Delil Saroxan Cemetery of Martyrs to mark the anniversary of Turkish occupation of Serêkaniyê (Ras al-Ain) and Girê Spî (Tal Abyad).
Displaying photos of Future Syrian Party Secretary General Hevrîn Xelef who was murdered by Turkish-backed mercenaries last October, the women condemned the Turkish invasion.
The press statement read by Cizire Region Religious Institution member Emîra El İzo stressed that the Turkish state continues with the crimes and attacks of the ISIS.
Emîra El İzo vowed to continue the struggle against Turkish fascism and called upon international institutions to raise their voices against crimes against humanity committed by the Turkish state and mercenary allies.
Remarking that the Turkish state seeks to fulfil the projects of ISIS, İzo emphasised that mercenaries must be expelled from Syrian lands.
