For some days now, there has been an increase in the attacks of the Turkish state and its SNA militiamen on Northern Syria. The jihadist mercenaries of Turkey have accelerated their troop transports towards Ain Issa. Within the last three weeks, militiamen of the "Syrian National Army" (SNA), which was built up by Turkey, have tried several times to enter the town.
Further military transports are taking place to the villages of Erebîn, Lêlan, Hemdaniyê and Dibsê in the west of Til Temir. Reports from the region say that tanks, howitzers and Grad rockets are among the weapons being transported. Movements are also being observed at the Turkish base of Ameriya, and sources in the region report that tanks are being stationed.
On October 28, the Turkish state and its jihadists reinforced their troops at the military posts in the town of Zirgan (Abu Rasen) near Serêkaniyê (Ras al-Ain).
The importance of the M4
With the capture of the M4 highway, which occupies a key position in Turkey's invasion plans, mainly because of its relative proximity to the city of Raqqa and thus to the gate to Deir ez-Zor, Turkey would come closer to its neo-Ottoman dreams of extending its external borders to all other cities in the border strip and transporting oil from Kirkuk and Deir ez-Zor to the Mediterranean.
