A vehicle was hit by a Turkish drone in Qamishlo. The car completely burned out. It was not clear whether the car was on the road or parked. There was also no information about any victims.

The drone strike occurred late Friday afternoon on the road connecting Qamishlo and the city of Tirbespiyê further east. Near the site of the attack is the Nimetli post, operated by security forces of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.

For years, Turkey has been using drones for the extrajudicial killing in Northern and Eastern Syria, but also in the Kurdistan region of Iraq and in the Yazidi region of Shengal. The attacks target in particular representatives of self-government structures, members of the liberation movement as well as civilias.

In the autonomous region of Northern and Eastern Syria alone, dozens of people have been killed by Turkish killer drones this year and at least fifty people have been injured. On Wednesday, two fighters from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) died in such an attack in Kobanê, and on Thursday a car was attacked from the air in Amûdê. The international community ignores Turkey's drone war against Kurds.
