The Anti-Terrorist Units of the Manbij Military Council neutralized the Turkish intelligence MIT-linked cell structure member who was trying to launch a terrorist attack in the city.

The Manbij Military Council Press Center issued the following statement:

“Anti-Terrorism Units of the Manbic Military Council detected a suspicious motorcycle driver during their regular patrol in the city center.

Anti-Terrorist Units followed the suspect for a long time. The mercenary was trying to launch a terrorist attack in the city center. The Anti-Terrorist Units called for the surrender of the terrorist, but the motorcycle driver tried to flee.

The Anti-Terrorist Units in order to prevent any attack in the city center followed the mercenary for a time along the Manbij-Ewn El-Dadat highway where they finally neutralized the terrorist.

When they searched the enging of the terrorist motorcycle it was discovered that it was filled with explosives which confirmed he was prepared to launch an attack.

While establishing the identity of the terrorist it was discovered that he was in the record of previously known Turkey intelligence agency-linked people."
