Turkish soldiers kill a civilian at Rojava border

A 50-year-old man from Çilaxa in Rojava was shot dead by Turkish border guards while working in the fields. Only last night a civilian was killed by Turkish jihadist proxies in Serêkaniyê.

A 50-year-old civilian man from Rojava was shot dead by Turkish border guards on Sunday near the north-east Syrian town of Çilaxa (al-Jawadiyah) near Dêrik (al-Malikiya). The victim was identified as civilian Mihyedîn Abdullah.

According to available information, Abdullah was in a cultivated area in his village Dêrna Axê when he came under the sights of Turkish soldiers and was killed. 

Last night, a civilian was shot dead by Turkish jihadist proxies in Serêkaniyê (Ras al-Ain). The slain civilian is Mihemed Hesen el-Cabir from the village of Migrin, west of Til Helef, who was on his way home back from Raqqa last night with others when Turkish-backed jihadists opened fire on the group. Several other people were injured. The man’s body was taken to Selam Hospital in Serêkaniyê.

In another targeted attack, Turkish soldiers last night opened fire from armored vehicle on 35-year-old Bahram Yusefi who had reportedly entered Turkish territory from Eastern Kurdistan’s Belecuk village to sell cigarettes. The man lost his life at the scene and his body was taken to Özalp district hospital.
