Turkish state hinders Dengê Dirbêsiyê radio broadcast

The Turkish state has been hindering the Dengê Dirbêsiyê FM radio broadcast.

The radio station Dengê Dirbêsiyê FM had changed their frequency from 96.9 to 108.0 to avoid attacks by the Turkish state on January 1, but the state has been sending countersignals to prevent the radio's frequency for the last month.

Cizre Canton Radios Technical Division Member Şiyar Sîno stated that the Turkish state has been attacking signals and hindering broadcasts by Rojava radios through various methods for some time now.

Sîno said that the Turkish state wants to silence the democratic nation through these attacks and stressed that their will won't be broken with such practices and they will continue making Rojava's voice heard.

Dengê Dirbêsiyê FM was founded on December 1, 2016 and has been broadcasting political, social and cultural programs since.
