Peoples of northeast Syria are increasingly protesting against the threats of invasion by the Turkish state.
Veterans of the war waged against ISIS mercenaries in North and East Syria marched to the United Nations (UN) Representation in Qamishlo city today.
After gathering in front of the March 12 Stadium in the city center, hundreds of veterans and wounded former fighters protested against the Turkish state’s threats of invasion against the region which they liberated using their bodies as a shield.
“We are the defenders of North and East Syria” wrote a huge banner unfurled by the veterans who are expected to make a press statement in front of the UN Representation.
