Northern and Eastern Syria is constantly being attacked by the Turkish state. Young people join the SDF to protect their land. The Euphrates Region Young Women Union, which held its annual meetings on Tuesday, decided to step up mobilization.
The meeting resulted in the decision to establish an autonomous battalion and join the Ain Issa war. In accordance with this decision, 40 members of the Young Women's Union joined the SDF forces to protect their territory against the attacks of the Turkish state and mercenaries.
Canê Ebdo, who joined the war to defend her land, emphasized that all young people should be careful to the policy carried out by the enemy.
Underlining that the war in the region is a war for existence and against extermination, Ebdo said: "As young women, we decided to form an autonomous battalion and to fight against the enemy. There is not only a war on our lands, but also a great war against young people. The enemies want to use young people for their own interests. They impose spying, prostitution and drugs on young people. We have to be careful and alert against such dirty games."
Rewşen Elî added: "We will never allow the enemy to implement their projects on our land. We will fight until the Turkish state and its mercenaries are removed from our country. We will never take a step back. Our aim is to return the people of the region to their lands. We are determined to expel the enemy from our lands."
Tolîn Mihemed began her remarks by commemorating the martyrs of the struggle for freedom. She added that they would follow in the footsteps of the martyrs. She underlined that women played a leading role in all wars and made a call to young women: "I call out to all young women, support us and join our battalion. Let's fight together against the enemy and liberate our land."
