YPG: 21 members of Turkey affiliated gangs killed

YPG (People's Defense Units) Press Office released the following statement providing detailed information regarding the attacks and violations of the invading Turkish army and affiliated gangs on Rojava and Northern Syria for 4 days.
“On May 6th, gangs acting under command of the invading Turkish army attacked the Basufanê and Bircikê Silêman villages in Efrîn's Sherawa district, and Ayn Daqnê village in Shera district. Concurrently with the attacks, Qestal hill was also targeted by the gangs with heavy weaponry. On the same day, Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles and jets flew over Kobanê borderline and town center.
On May 7th, gangs acting under command of the invading Turkish army attacked Efrîn's Eleqîn village from Azaz region. YPG forces immediately responded to the attacks, which resulted in heavy fighting. The attack was repelled following fierce clashes during which 21 members of the gangs were killed, their arms were seized and a vehicle of theirs was destroyed. The same day, Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles and jets flew over Kobanê.
On May 8th, gangs acting under command of the invading Turkish army attacked the Barîn, Martyr Şilan and Baz hills in Efrîn's Cindirêsê district with heavy weaponry. YPG forces immediately retalited against the attacks but the number of dead or wounded gang members couldn't be clarified. Gangs also attacked Belûniyê and Vîla Qadî villages in Efrîn's Shera district with mortars. On the same day, Turkish soldiers shot and wounded a villager working in his field in Abû Zellê village of Girê Spî at 08:00 in the morning.
On May 9th, gangs acting under command of the invading Turkish army attacked the Basufanê village in Efrîn's Sherawa district and the Iska hill in Cindirêsê district with mortars. Gangs also attacked the Ziyaret village west of Kobanê.
Concurrently with the attacks, Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles flew over Kobanê borderline. Turkish army affiliated gangs also attacked the Şêxler town of Kobanê from Lower Jarablus area with mortars.”
