YPG: 5 members of Turkey affiliated gangs killed

YPG Press Office released a statement providing information about the attacks carried out by the Turkish army and allied gangs on Rojava land during the past 5 days.
The statement said that attacks of the invading Turkish army and gangs acting under their command continue without a pause, targeting mainly the cantons of Efrîn and Kobanê recently. Aerial activity over the region also continues.
YPG gave the following information as to the attacks and violations of the invading Turkish army and allied gangs for the past 5 days:
On May 27, the invading Turkish army and gangs acting under their command attacked the hill in Celewê village in Efrîn's Cindirêsê district with mortars and hell cannons. The same day, the gangs attacked Efrîn's Maranez, Ayn Daqnê and Belûnê vilages with howitzer fire.
On May 28, Turkish fighter jets and unmanned aerial vehicles flew over the western border of Kobanê. The same day, gangs affiliated with the invading Turkish army attacked the Şêxler town of Kobanê with artillery fire from Lower Jarablus region.
On May 29, 5 members of the Turkey affiliated gangs were noticed by YPG as they attempted an attack on our positions in Efrîn's Belûniyê village. Clash erupted between YPG forces and the gangs, as result of which 2 gang members were killed and 1 other was wounded.
In addition, gangs attacked the Derbelût village and Dewa hill in Efrîn's Cindirêsê district with mortar and Katyusha fire. A 4-hectare cultivated land of the locals burned as result of the attack. YPG forces responded to the attack but no information could be obtained regarding the losses suffered by the gangs.
Gang groups also attacked the Basufanê village in Efrîn's Sherawa district with mortars.
The same day, YPG forces responded to the gangs' attack on Îska village in Efrîn's Cindirêsê district, leaving three members of the gangs dead.
On May 30, Turkish soldiers opened fire on a local's harvester in the Koran village east of Kobanê, to which YPG responded.
The same day, gangs acting under the Turkish army's command opened fire on YPG positions in Îska village hill and Celemê village of Efrîn. YPG retaliated the attack in kind, with no exact information available regarding those killed or wounded among the gangs involved in the attacks.
