38 women executed in Rojhilat and Iran in the last nine months

According to a report by the Women's Commission of the National Council for the Defense of Human Rights in Iran, 38 women have been executed in Rojhilat and Iran over the past nine months.

According to the report, a total of 1,175 people were executed in Rojhilat and Iran in the last nine months. Thirty-eight of them were women.

The report stated that 14 women were executed between July 30 and September 30 alone. In Iran, a woman is executed every four days.

The increase in executions of women is intended to intimidate society, as women have always played a leading role in popular uprisings.

The number of women executed in Rojhilat and Iran in recent years is as follows: 15 women in 2022, 26 women in 2023, 34 women in 2024, and more than 300 women in total since 2007.
