Women gathered in front of the Kongreya Star offices in Derik visited the YPJ and Asayish headquarters to celebrate March 8 with female fighters and Asayish-Jin members.

Kongreya Star members were received by Commander Tekosin Beritan in the YPJ headquarters in Ayn Diwar. The women celebrated March 8 for women resisting against gangs in the fronts and women of the world.

Kongreya Star administrator Zelfa Mihemed spoke during the visit to the Asayish headquarters and celebrated March 8 for women who fight to defend Northern and Eastern Syria.

Zelfa celebrated March 8 for Leyla Guven, who has been on a hunger strike for 117 days demanding an end to the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and said women organize and fight against societal impositions with Ocalan’s philosophy.

The visit concluded with slogans.

Kongreya Star visited the YPJ and Asayish headquarters in Serekaniye, Heseke to celebrate March 8.

Kongreya Star Heseke Spokeswoman Jiyan Ibrahim spoke during the visit and said they celebrate March 8 World Women’s Day for all women fighting for freedom.

YPJ Commander Helin Amed said they were pleased with the visit and celebrated March 8 for all women of Northern and Eastern Syria.

The visit concluded with slogans saluting women’s struggle.
