In Kızıltepe (Qoser) in the province of Mardin (Mêrdîn), a man named Ömer Durak attempted suicide after killing his wife Sema Durak with a gun.

After neighbours informed them, medical teams came to the scene and rushed Sema Durak to the hospital. Unfortunately, the woman could not be saved.
