People answer the call for mobilisation and join the defence of North-East Syria

The Social Defence Forces in Til Kocher in Cizîr Canton and the People's Assembly in Qamishlo's Enteriye neighbourhood answered the call for mobilisation in North-East Syria.

The Social Defence Forces in Til Kocher in Cizîr Canton and the People's Assembly in Qamishlo's Enteriye neighbourhood answered the call for mobilisation in North-East Syria.

Til Kocher

Answering the call of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the Social Defence Forces (HPC) in the town of Til Kocher in Girkê Legê in Cizîr Canton announced that they will act with the SDF for the defence of the region.

HPC member Etiye El Selmo read a press statement in front of the HPC headquarters and stated the following: “After the fall of the Baath regime and the attacks by the occupying Turkish state and allied mercenaries against our regions, we are going through a sensitive and historically important stage for the future of Syria and the regions of Northern and Eastern Syria. The SDF is our legitimate defence force and includes Kurdish, Arab, Armenian, Assyrian and Syriac components. It is waging a great and historic struggle against the attacks by the occupying Turkish state and affiliated mercenaries. It is our duty to stand by our forces and defend our properties, villages, neighbourhoods and cities. We call on the people of the region to comply with the current process that requires caution and self-defence.”

Qamishlo

The People's Assembly of Enteriye Neighbourhood in Qamishlo city of Cizîr Canton announced their participation in the general mobilisation declared by the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and the Syrian Democratic Forces against the invasion attacks launched by the Turkish state and its SNA mercenaries against the regions of North and East Syria.


The People's Assembly announced that 8 battalions affiliated to HPC were formed within the framework of self-defence as part of general mobilisation: “As the people of Enteriyê, we will not leave our SDF, YPG and YPJ forces alone. We will stand by our sons and daughters and defend our regions. We will take responsibility for our self-defence.”
