'Rojava Kurdish Women's Initiative' to work for a democratic, multicultural, egalitarian Syria

A group of women in Northern and Eastern Syria said that they have established the 'Rojava Kurdish Women's Initiative' with the aim of taking an active role in the construction of a democratic, multicultural, egalitarian and free Syria.

A group of Kurdish women in Northern and Eastern Syria made a statement on the current political situation in Syria and the future of the Kurdish people.

The statement held at the Şawîşka Center in Qamishlo was attended by Kurdish women who are actively working in the political, social and diplomatic fields.

The statement, made in Kurdish and Arabic, by Initiative Preparation Committee members Necla Temo and Nalîn Esed, said that the women have established the 'Rojava Kurdish Women's Initiative'.

The women, who share the reason for the establishment of the initiative, its core values, working principles and goals, called on women in Northern and Eastern Syria to protect their national values ​​and identities, and said that they should take an active role in the construction of a democratic, multicultural, egalitarian and free Syria.

Committee members invited all Kurdish women to participate in the work of the "Rojava Kurdish Women's Initiative".
