• Raqqa Social Justice Council says killing of young girl in Hesekê must be heavily punished 

  Members of the Raqqa Social Justice Council said that the murder of a girl named Eyde al-Seîdo in Hesekê deserves the heaviest punishment.

  E.Y. wanted to kill E.K., whom she divorced two weeks ago. The man tried to kill his ex-wife with a cutting tool and also injured E.K.’s mother and aunt. The incident happened in Niksar.

  Women in Manbij, Aleppo and Tirbespiye condemned the brutal execution of 13-year-old girl Eyde El Seido and called for the criminals to be sentenced.
• Anger after murder of 13-year-old girl in Heseke 

  In Heseke, a 13-year-old girl was executed by family members because she refused to agree to a forced marriage with her cousin. The crime is causing horror in the autonomous regions of northern and eastern Syria and is driving women into the streets.

  Deniz Poyraz, the HDP member who was murdered in Izmir on 17 June, was commemorate at a sit-in for the Istanbul Convention. The women will be protesting until 1 July when the decision to withdraw from the Convention comes into effect.
