Kurdish Cultural Festival in Paris kicks off today

The Second Kurdish Cultural Festival in Paris opens today, Saturday, with a folklore parade.

The Second Kurdish Cultural Festival in Paris opens today, Saturday. The opening will start at 1pm with a folklore parade and will be followed by a gala at 3 pm at the Town Hall of the 10th arrondissement of Paris.

The CDK-F invited everybody to the event and to the week of “immersion in the richness of the Kurdish cultural heritage.”

The program of the inauguration today is as follows: welcome speech, music concert by Meral Alkan and Ulaş Kelaşîn, theatre and musical performance of Govend (folk dance).

The opening will be at the Salle des Fêtes de la Mairie de Paris 10, 72 rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin.
