Neo-Nazi attack Turkish Migrant Workers Cultural Association in Paris, one young member injured

The ACTIT association in Paris was attacked by neo-Nazi fascists, and a young member of Young Struggle was injured.

The Turkish Migrant Workers Cultural Association (ACTIT), which operates under the Confederation of Oppressed Migrants in Europe (AVEG-KON) in Paris, was attacked by the French fascist neo-Nazi KOB WEILLE group on Sunday evening.

A group of fascists went to the association with knives and attacked young members of the socialist youth organization Young Struggle, seriously injuring one young person.

The Turkish Migrant Workers Cultural Association (ACTIT), the Democratic Forces Union (DGB) and the German Migrant Workers Federation (AGIF) condemned the attack in a written statement and called for the perpetrators to be caught and the institutions that were negligent in the attack to be held accountable.

The statement said: "This attack is clearly aimed at preventing the organization of immigrant workers and the struggle of anti-capitalist, anti-fascist youth organized against fascism and racism. The French police, who arrived late and did not intervene at a time when several fascist groups came together to attack the activity of the young members of Young Strugle, are paving the way for fascist practices and attacks. We call on the perpetrators of this attack to be caught and all institutions that were negligent in the attack to be held accountable. We will not allow racist attacks against migrants in Europe!"
